Choose a landing spot before the game starts

You can kill yourself with a bad landing spot, and we don't mean falling down. Choosing a bad, competitive, or straight-up hard location may jeopardize your chances to make it to the end. Avoid confrontation, especially during the early game stages

If you think PUBG is all about killing you may not be right because survival is the most important part of your strategy and the whole point of the game. It doesn't matter if you eliminate 98 players in the process if the last one kills you. And you know it is possible. Either way you won't be at the top of the match. More stealth, less confrontation!

Step #1

The first thing you have to do when flying in the first minutes is to peek around quickly with the camera, before you engage in the battle. This strategy will give a decent overview of what happens on the site of landing. This way you will be able to check the entire battlefield and examine some situations, for example, how a group of enemies is spread out on the floor before touching the land, which may take longer than expected.

Second, if you don't want to die early in the game, or get caught by an enemy, optimal advice is that you don't get close to the big areas at the moment of the landing. It is better if you cross the field and run immediately to lonely places instead, so far away as you can. Don't ever stand in a field for too long. The best is you flank the other players. Another option is crouch and sneaking, or that you go prone and lay down. Always be aware of your back. But don´t forget your front, your radius; we know that it is much less likely that someone will approach you from there but it is important anyway.

Don't be afraid; this is your window of opportunity. Pay attention to your surroundings, to all the moves and sounds, if you suspect an enemy may be nearby. Control the environment, scout the area. Read the current terrain. Make sure nothing happens near you. Follow your instinct. For example, hear the sound, the noise of the environment; maybe you can hear some steps coming, an ambush along with shots of your enemies. Stay alert. Maybe it is too soon to face opponents, and you should go ahead and switch your course to the opposite direction.

This is a simple strategy but really effective. 

Step #3

Third, although a better-looted area looks like a good place for landing, it will also be the most dangerous, so let it go, don't spend a lot of time in areas like that. In this case, it may be a better option to play safe and locate the places - especially at the west of the map - where you can avoid fighting other players, hiding behind a wall, but where regularly spawn one or another useful item or essential stuff like a chest, crates, aid kits with bandages, vests, gear or something else that helps you to protect your body.

Fourth, make sure to grab the right fights, it is not necessary to expose yourself if you are not sure of winning, and if you're concerned about having the best loot, don't worry, I know especially at the late game it will be really helpful, but you just need to have a calculated kill in order to get all the other player's stuff everybody desires that much.

Fifth, some of the best places to hide in the world of PUBG are hills, cliffs, one or another park, and offshore boats, especially those because in a hurry you can use the vehicle to escape quickly without exposing yourself on the road for a minute or ten. Choose the best spot! Also, if you find a motorcycle or a car, grab it without wasting time and drive to your destiny. Driving to the safest spots in the map is a plus in a good way to survive. Hide and organize before you decide to pull the trigger.

And talking about your equipment...

When you're playing PUBG, it's really important to get a good number of stuff on your inventory at the early game (also in the mid-game). What you have equipped, defines if you are dead or alive at the PUBG battleground. It is nearly always worth it. Not everyone comes out alive in the first minutes of play. Generally, a backpack, a strong bulletproof vest, powerful assault rifles, smoke and frag grenades, shotguns and SMGs, an AWM, medical stuff, and a helmet - especially this - are the basics and the key items you need to find. Finding this equipment makes the first minutes in the online battlefield easier. 

Of course, the higher the level they are, the stronger they will make you, but you need to understand something: it's better to have a lower undamaged armor instead of a higher level one that has already been damaged, except from helmets, always look for a level three available because they're the only ones that will save your head if needed.

The better weapon

PUBG has an extended variety of digital weapons at your disposal, giving you different options in order to eliminate other rivals.

Selecting the perfect choice when you begin the game, also when you are in the middle of battle, rather than picking any option is incredibly crucial and really subjective since every player has different strategies. Some players prefer the stealth, others the straight confrontation. Certain players are really passive, others very aggressive. Even if you plan to lay low for the whole match, having a good gun simply will put you in an advantageous position. If you have the chance of getting it don't doubt it. Otherwise, if you are confident, face your enemies like a warrior!

Weapons are divided into 9 categories:

1. Assault rifles. 

2. SMG. 

3. Sniper rifles.

4. DMR.

5. Shotguns.

6. Pistols.

7. LMG.

8. Melee weapons.

9. Bows.

Some of them have long-range good for large distances, others short range with a burst of damage. Even, some have scope or sight included. Though attachments can extend the range of weapons, they also have great recoil. It depends on your style, some of the weapons allow you to cause a lot of damage but they take a long time to reload (a regular weapon takes 2.80 seconds to reload) while others will consume a lot of ammo. Also, you can throw some special weapons, such as grenades to cause damage. In one phrase, all weapons have advantages and disadvantages. It is very important that you set your equipment. 

Probably the most useful weapons are assault rifles because they cover all kinds of distance and rapid-fire weapons that inflict extremely high considerable amount of damage. You could find these rifles if you ran fast and searched every corner near you.

You should always carry one of these.

A second good choice, if you want to hide and kill at distance then the sniper rifles are adequate, although they take a long time to recharge. If you are kind of crazy and want to perform some Rambo video game scene then a shotgun is a great choice, but you'll be closer to action. Use melee weapons and pistols if you don't have any other choice, they don't help so much.

The Blue Circle is a way to prevent camping. You will have a certain timeframe to survive, e. g. the first Blue Circle allows you to live for 4 minutes and 10 seconds without healing, and these windows shorten with time. 

At first things on PUBG will not be that hard since you'll have plenty of space to keep your life. It is in the next part of the battle, at the late game when things can get really difficult and also interesting. Of course, this is not a rule (I can't see the future) but it is the most common. At this point, locations where to be hidden are very important. 

Regarding the map, one thing to note are three zones: a red (which drops bombs), a white and a blue circle (safe circle) or zone. Staying inside the blue circle will keep you safe. Staying outside the blue circle will have consequences because you'll get damaged. At the early game this blue zone deals minimum damage (you can survive for a total four minutes), but relentlessly the zone will start to shrink as the playtime passes, leaving you no other option than finally facing the rest of the people within the game.

On the Players Unknown Battleground, if you want to reduce risks at the minimum, taking some damage and sacrificing some health at the beginning of the game is a good idea. Then, when things start getting serious, try to hold yourself somewhere at the very edge of the area. Actually, this is the best strategy at this point of the game and it will keep you away from shots.

The highest areas are also the safest. 

When the circles are on their smaller size, you have two main strategies: if you can get there first and have enough time to do it then run and do it, that way you'll have the chance to settle on the best place and have better visibility of the field. If you can't, then the best you can do is to keep on the edge while everybody is killing at the center of the map. In the later stages of the round you will have the chance to show yourself.

Preferably, it is better if you deal with other players at the end of the battle. This is when the players are weakened and you can surprise them. There is no reason to enter the battleground if you are not sure of winning. 

In these terms, the same logic applies, because, if you are playing on your team or on a solo mode, or you are the last one left or a lonely gamer without any extra backups, it is better if you try to avoid the crossfire and look for the best location.

Choosing your battles is a wise way to fight. 

Zeroing in PUBG

Zeroing is one of the most interesting things you are going to do in PUBG, and you got to learn it well because it will help you save a lot of stress through those moments when holding your breath is almost inevitable, especially through the final lapses of the matches.

What is zeroing in PUBG?

Zeroing is basically when you are sitting in your spot and you shoot on a slight upward angle, making the bullets travel in an arc a huge distance. This way you can reach distant targets and increase your chances of killing the opponent and catching him by surprise.

In order to increase the default distance of your shot, what you need to do is hit page up, that way you'll increase 100 meters of distance. It's important to consider the fact that not all scopes can do this job, so if you want to try, a great choice would be the VSS, the 8x or the 15 x scope. You almost always have a clear shot with these scopes. 

Another thing you have to keep in mind for surviving is the fact that even if you feel comfortable and you aim perfectly sometimes your enemy will move and the bullet's speed and rate will be different depending on your weapon - obviously the sniper is faster than a regular gun. Usually, if you want to increase your chances of hitting, a good option is to calculate the shot just a little bit on the front of the target, that way if he is running to escape... well, you know what happens. Remember, anticipation is everything when you shoot a gun. 

If you have already tried zeroing and had a bad time or experience it's comprehensible, try to locate a single enemy and once you have him completely watched, search for a town, building, house, or something really close to him and build your bunker, camp on it, then open the map and count how many squares there are between you and him, each square represents one hundred meters. Keeping the breath is important, don't rush, just feel free to shoot and try.

With time, you'll measure almost automatically the distance. Zeroing will help you not to don't draw attention.  

Facing the gunfight

Inevitably you will have to shoot on Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, and it's fine because general confrontation is one of the funniest parts of any game, so don't get scared, knowing that there are some points that can help you to survive through this and improve your chances of winning. Avoiding the battle for too long will not be beneficial for you, to say the least. 

Don't use grass as a coverage

It may seem like a great idea, but it's not. Because of its transparency, snipers will easily detect you, try instead with bushes to stay unseen. Don't use trees to hide either; it is the same effect. A tree will not cover you fully. Move around corners effectively, and you should be fine.

How you prepare for the late game will make the difference. For the purpose of having a grand finale, reserve some good resources, such as energy drinks, painkillers, bents, and medical stuff like First Aid kits for the very ending in order to boost your health and reduce the damage, in that way you won't lose precious seconds on healing and you will be on a better chance to kill your enemy during the weapon combat.

Get complete information about the map

You have to know the towns, the major cities, the military camps, the sights, the larger settlements, and every piece and corner of Erangel. This is part of the most important tactics every player needs to know and a basic thing you have to learn in most of the games. Avoid using obvious very used roads and shortcuts like bridges because often you will find a squad heading directly for you, or several opponents just waiting on those spots with a rifle or grenade to kill you.

There are different ways of aiming, practice them all because they'll be useful depending on the fight and weapon.

Fix your movement

The way you move is really important, jumping when you shoot increases your chances of doing a headshot, and moving just a little bit on a zig-zag mode and fast, even when you think no one's around, can save you from receiving one. This last way works especially well. 

You can use greed to your benefit, as a bait. Leave some small loot or crate strategically so your enemy feels tempted to pick it and then shoot to death. What a great situation! Looting can be the doom of many players. They will not know what happened to them before dying!

Decide between a first person and a third person view. 

Keep an eye on your surroundings

Pay high attention to doors and how they open in order to stand at a side and shoot anybody trying to enter. This is really worth it. Keep in mind all doors are closed at the early game, this means if you find something open, someone has already been there and might still be around. Don't make the same mistake, close the door to increase your chances of surprising reckless souls.

At last, if you are part of the last three survivors don't rush into the fight, take good cover and wait for the right moment to appear, in some cases, you can even win against pro gamers without exposure.

Be smart with boosters

How you manage your Energy Drinks and Painkillers is what makes a difference between life and death. 

Or in this case, between winning and losing.

When your health goes down to 0, you die. There is no resurrection. Energy Drinks and Painkillers regenerate your health. Do not use them when you don't need to.

PUBG mobile tips

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds at this point already has a consolidated name. PUBG has come not only on PC, Xbox and PlayStation, but to mobile devices as well this 2018 This release comes with some changes, we have to say it, but this is a good thing. You'll just need to download it, adjust the settings and start playing.

The funny thing here is that, at the end of everything, the mobile version is kind of different, so thinking PUBG mobile is an extension of the other version is totally wrong.

The truth is that the mobile version has one advantage, and that is that the mobile version is way bigger on its content, especially cosmetics. Another difference is that leaning gets harder and you'll have to practice it, unless you want to become an easy target but on the other hand, recoiling the guns is harder on the PC version. 

Of course, graphics are different and that can have a direct impact. We have already said that hiding on the grass was not the greatest of ideas... well, on the mobile version it's even worse, don't do it. In addition, one or another room and some specific places also look quite different.

Latest thing is that you'll find the map can tell you about the gunshots that are happening near to you, or even watch the footprints, the footsteps, bullet signs, and enemies approaching on a vehicle. You have to be aware of these signs. 

The wisest advice is this: don't discard any of the PUBG versions because both are great and will give you many emotions per minute, hours of fun across Erangel.
