The game offers you a variety of Forsaken World items called your gear. Gear can be obtained in a variety of ways such as killing monsters, completing quests, trading with players, finishing events, finishing dungeons and instances etc. To equip your gear all you need to do is to right click an item in your bag. You will need to meet requirements for certain Forsaken World items first, though. Some items can be bound at equip so it will be impossible to trade them later. You can sell unbound gear to vendors for soul currency so it would be wiser to keep unwanted items for later reselling. Items can also be salvaged if you have reached level 40 at Scavenger job.
